I needed to step back . . .
I don’t know about you, but for me, the world got too loud. From the moment I wake up until I lay down to sleep, there is a constant downloading of information.
I got sucked in. As a content creator, it is almost impossible not to get sucked in. Chasing algorithms, making thumbnails just so they are clickable, what is that? What kind of life is that? What kind of example am I setting for my kids? I am sure I wouldn’t want my own children to pursue that way of life, being glued to a screen, filming many takes of a video just to make it look good, and then putting it out there for so many people. So, why do I think itβs okay for me?
I am not judging anyone. I am sure that there are people who are genuine and faithful to God while doing their work on YouTube. I know this because I have met them. But it has also come to my knowledge that many of the things I am struggling with, they are struggling with too.
So, I am choosing a different path, a quiet one. I still want to be a blessing to other women and moms, but I want to do it here on this blog. I don’t want to be in a place where I keep you scrolling mindlessly. I don’t want to be one more person keeping you in a constant loop of videos instead of keeping you in the Word.
Here, you can come, read, and leave as you wish. After all, the most powerful messages throughout history weren’t recorded on video; they were written down quietly, from the heart.
In the future, I might even share little audio notes or voice messages here inside the posts, just a quiet space where you can listen to my voice like a friend speaking to a friend, without the noise of a screen.
Thank you for being here with me on this quiet journey. Let’s slow down, seek Him, and take care of our homes together.
With love,
Ivana
